What's the plaything web site all about ?

The Its a Plaything web site allows the car modifying and cruising community to post content related links direct to the web site. These postings are then indexed into relevant data bases thereby creating a vast resource of information to help the community find what they are looking for on the web quickly and efficiently. The site could be viewed as a hybrid of a web site and a web log.

Does that mean that all the content is provided by other web sites ?

No we publish alot of content and have built a number of sites which are linked in

Can I post links to the site then ?

Please feel free. After all this is what the site was designed for. All we would ask is that you post suitable content. The one thing that could destroy this site is lots of crap postings. Also remember the law !! Itsa Plaything can not be held responsible for any links to illegal content.

How do I post ?

First go to the section that you wish to post to. Compete the blue submission form and submit.Your post then becomes part of the data base and the site is updated in real time. You can then relax, safe in the knowledge that you have contributed to world peace (well ok the plaything web site then)

My post has disappeared off the front page . What's happened ?

To keep the site fresh we only display the post recent postings on the front page. If you want a permanent link post to the relevant section.

OK so what's in it for you guys ?

Fair question. If you take a look around the site you will notice that a number of suppliers sell product via our shop. All these nice guys and girls pay us commission on sales . The revenue generated from these sales supports the web site and hopefully one day will make us all rich !!!

I've got some great ideas for content but I don't have a web site what can I do ?

Can I be featured on your shop ?

Drop us an email and we'll contact you to discuss. Some points for you to consider though. We do not handle stock therefore you must be able to demonstrate that you have a stable supply chain as we are not prepared to risk our goodwill though poor service. As a rule we will not consider commissions of less that 20%. A possible exception would be a product with high sales volume. If you feel that this is excessive consider that there are no hidden costs. We do not charge you for advertising.

I've just seen some cool web sites of modified cars on your plaything section. Where did they get those built ?

Well thanks very much. We built them. Drop us a email if you want one. If you only want a home page we'll do it for free. There is a small charge for additional pages.

Someone's posted a link to a page on my web site. I don't want any one linking to this page. Please can you remove it ?
